USS Columbia Returns from
Operation Iraqi Freedom

     The submarine ’s commanding officer, Cmdr. Duane R. Ashton, and his crew, left Dec. 6 for a six-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. More
FH-3 Arrives in Pensacola to Heroes' Welcome
     PENSACOLA, Fla. (NNS) -- The men and women of Fleet Hospital 3 returned home to Pensacola mid-morning June 9 to heroes’ welcome by more than 450 family members and staff of Naval Hospital Pensacola.
     The combat medical/surgical field hospital command returned home three months to the day from departing from the skies above Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., March 9, arriving at Kuwait City on March 10.
     FH-3 made history by becoming the first-ever Navy medical command to establish and construct an Expeditionary Medical Facility in a war zone. More
