Why are they draining the pond? I mean a box divers found could easily be lifted up to the surface? They are looking for much more than a box. My guess is also to dredge the sediment in the muck bottom for other stuff. Anyone who has ever done a dive knows that the average public resivior/lake/pond has an entire junkyard at the bottom.

Naturally we aren't given a list of all the items found in the lake since it might just prove that - a dumping ground.

The larges number of items that will be found in the reservoilr will be beer cans. The army personnel and their girlfriends fromm Hood College used to go there to party, and probably still do.
