The solution lies in the old adage that "The best defense is a good offense."

Well if you're going to go on the offensive (and I agree with you), it's still a good idea to lock up your house prior to leaving.

Doing one should not automatically exclude doing the other.

I am begining to look around for some of the dupers. Check out one "Dr Richard Spertzel;" He testified before Congress (see link 1) wrote an article for National Review, amongst other activities I am sure.

Strange enough, look at the whos-who list at the think tank he works at Benador Associates.
