Either that, or the study shows the higher rate at which homosexuals are caught/prosecuted for such crimes. Whereas heterosexual child molestors may go un-caught forever. Not to mention how many male family members (fathers, brothers, uncles) or family friends molest little girls... most of which go unnoticed and unprosecuted.

It is a fact of human nature that more effort goes into solving crimes that are "more offensive" to people. So particularly heinous crimes are given more attention -- note the extra (even extreme) attention paid to the Laci Peterson case, compared to the THREE other cases in that same area where a pregnant woman was murdered late in her pregnancy. But Laci Peterson was an attractive white woman, whereas the other murdered pregnant women were either not white or not attractive. Since most people consider homosexual child molestation to be more offensive than heterosexual child molestation, I would imagine the perpetrators are "hunted down" more diligently and more successfully as compared with heterosexual child molestors.

(I don't know how anyone can say that homo or hetero child molestation is more or less offensive than the other - ALL child molestation is offensive to me, whether homo or hetero.)

That’s not really a credible argument given that child molestation is in its self a heinous crime regardless of who does it.
