6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in
secret; and thy Father which seeth in
secret shall reward thee openly.
It's a secret.
As is the identity of "The Greatest Nation of all Recorded History and which Nation has fed the world and which Nation that all families of the earth have been blessed by."
Not.
Or, perhaps, don't go looking for Zion -- or for God. Last time I checked neither -- except to those so blind they WILL not see -- was lost!
Get it yet?
And did you hear the one about Judgement?

The instruction being given here is how to give and to pray, another place it is said that those who have eyes to see and ears to hear don't even know what to pray for.
So we are told not to pray so everyone sees us praying, it is supposed to be between the individual and our Heavenly Father through Christ.
There is a big "secret" and it is that very "secret" that will deceive the masses. On the other hand that "secret" is not a "secret" to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. According to what is written there are not very many who have "eyes to see" and "ears to hear". The majority has never been right nor will they be today or in the near future.
One cannot stop at Genesis 12 and make it a delaration of whom is whom and what is what and where is where, one must read the rest of the story to be able to get the pieces of the whole picture, which in this flesh body we can only see a glimpse.
Interesting that it is Written that some are willingly blind and others are blinded for their own protection.
I still can't find Joel 4:2 which removes all credibility from the author of this article. We don't get to make our own understanding and most people are toooooo good to believe what is actually written they make up their own path.

6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Is that your take on this passage???!!! IT'S A SECRET???!!!
WOW! All this time I thought that it meant that God would sooner hear a whispered or even silent paryer from a person secreted within a closet that the PUBLIC RANTINGS AND GESTICULATIONS . . . BLASTINGS FROM TV's . . . I thought it meant that a silent prayer - unspoken - from a pure heart had more of a chance for an audience with God than public prayer.
