[history]
While British Prime Minister Tony Blair has taken a pounding on the Iraq war, President Bush has worked to harvest a political dividend from it, hoping to help brush aside deepening questions over deposed President Saddam Hussein's arms programs.
The war's outcome changed the dynamics and the thinking of leaders in the Middle East, which offered Bush an opportunity to seize the moment and step up his involvement in trying to forge a comprehensive peace between the Israelis and the Arabs.

Bush suggested it does not really matter whether banned weapons are found because "one thing is certain. No terrorist network will gain weapons of mass destruction from the Iraqi regime, because the Iraqi regime is no more." --
And this is the bottom line.

However...my local talk radio station has had at least 2 hosts using the word IMPEACHMENT regarding the WMDs.

"I'm the master of low expectations," he had told reporters traveling with him on the trip. I've always wondered if GW intentially sets up these "low expectations" scenarios. Especially after the midterm elections when the White House was telling everyone not to expect too much and then WHAM, they took it all.
Guess I've got my answer.

Any impeachment should start with Bob Graham, and all the other democrat security experts who were in charge of the intelligence committee, etc., while this country's defenses were sacrificed to discretionary social spending.

If we can't successfully impeach a lying pervert who sold national security to the highest bidder, committed perjury and possibly rape and "stained" the Oval Office, do you really think this effort will ever get off the ground?
Give me a break.

I've always wondered if GW intentially sets up these "low expectations" scenarios. The low expectations scenarios were not his idea originally. Ann Richardson started them.
But it's been reported since then that he does find them useful. It helps him when the Dems spend all of their campaign energy on trying to prove that he's stupid. And he gets more popularity when he shows that he's not.
I thank Dems who think that W is stupid and so are most of the voters; they're giving us a more Conservative gov't across the board.

No, KFI, they are being very irritating too!
