I belive you are basing you opinions...

I was only trying to respond to your suggestion that I was the only one who cared.

I like the President very much, he's got my `04 vote whether WMDs are found or not. I believe he's an honorable man of great character that does our nations proud. I can't say the same about many of the policy wonks at defense who may very well have abused the trust the President extended to them.

This seems to be the new dem talking point. I'm not accusing you of parroting the dems, just pointing out that this is the new take, seeing as how it is impossible to pin the "lying" charge on a President the people trust.

However it just doesn't hold water. Not only would there have to be liars in the pentagon, but also the CIA, DIA, and other agencies, including Congress, ALL of whom asserted that Iraq posessed WMDs going back to the early 90s. That is in addition to the UN, and numerous intelligence agencies of OTHER COUNTRIES.

For us to believe there were no WMDs, we would have to believe all those separate organizations, representing the entire political spectrum, have been lying for a decade. Sorry, I'm just not buying it.
