What I'm hearing from people (including my ex-Coastie hubby) who work at pulling people and other things out of the water--if the tape is stuck to itself or one of the bodies, it is probably not accidental (highly unlikely in any event). However, if it's simply
tangled, it could well be accidental. The un-released coroner's report might have those kinds of details.
On Fox last night (must be a slow news cycle, because Greta devoted the entire show to this story), attorneys were amazed that the coroner's report has not yet been released. It gave rise to all kinds of wild theories from her panel--the most likely, I think, might be that there was some kind of clue in the report that would either prove or disprove the State's case.
The last few nights Greta's show has been all the Laci Peterson murder. Frankly I wish they would call her Laci Rocha Peterson or better yet..drop Peterson altogether.
