ODC, I am a single mom working on a church secretary's salary, so I don't have the money for cable. No Fox News, no "fair and balanced." I just about die with having no alternatives.
One night each week, I visit my dad, and he has cable. When he sees me coming, he flips on FOX. (I have him well-trained.) He's now a Hannity and Shepherd Smith fan. (BYW, he's 96 yrs. young!)
But last night, I couldn't stomach even Hannity...when they brought that incorrigible LIAR Ann Lewis on to talk about Hillary's book. Steamed is putting it mildly! (LOL) "I'm outta here!" ---and went to the kitchen to unload his dishwasher.
So even the beloved FOX news sometimes needs a major barf alert!!!
I agree, I rarely watch their primetime programs, except for O'Reilly and I often mute him and some of his interviews. I get a lot of my news on the web. If I start a story and don't like the angle, it's CLICK on the back button! I tune in the local news for the weather and check FOX during the day and early evening and that's about it! So don't feel too deprived, check the web!
