Last year, some of those R's who switched sides were termed-out incumbents with no nomination for the fall election. Davis or the democrats rewarded some of them with cushy jobs. We still need to watch out for those termed-out incumbents who plan to retire after their term.

Despite the possibility of this idea having no effect, I'm glad Brulte is applying some pressure to keep Republicans from straying.
