No, California is more specific about marriage than that, and is one of 37 states in the union to defend marriage, with Texas being the most recent to join the party.

We voted to pass Prop. 22 by a landslide in 2000. It states:

"Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."

Meanwhile, the state is bleeding megabucks while these total a-holes in Sacramento sit around and pass legislation for homosexuals and try to force single-payer state operated medical insurance down our throats.

I have lived here for the past 33 years and will be retiring in 3 years. Sad to say that our plans to retire to the Palm Springs area will likely not come to fruition. We simply will not be able to afford to live in California.

I just received the registration renewals for our two cars. If the Dems push through the tripling of the vehicle license tax, my vehicle tax will INCREASE by $840 next year. Plus a half cent increase in the sales tax. Plus an increase in the income tax rates, and on and on.

By the way, UCLA just released their Anderson Economic Forecast yesterday. Whereas California's per capita income used to be 15% higher than the national average, it is now only 2% higher. At the same time, home prices and apartment rents are double the national average. The forecast pushes out the state's economic recovery until late 2004.

Thanks Joe Davis and your left wing Demo buddies in the legislature. RECALL - THE ONLY REVENGE!!!!
