Here's the good news: Flynt always sides with evil. He makes it easy to identify the players...

I agree with you actually on the dropping of ones duds for money. That said, it still doesn't make her a liar. And it doesn't make the phone transcripts and tapes any less damning. But this stuff does pollute the jury pool. And it does make life even harder for Frey's child.

Soo... a woman who would do something immoral (commit adultery) would also be willing to do something immoral (pose nude)?
Who knew?
Oh, wait... right: everybody.

How much can the photos be worth if the Enquirer already got a partial exclusive?

Giving her the benefit of the doubt, she said he had told her his marriage had been separated and was grinding its way to an inevitable divorce. Now, biblically, that doesn't pass muster. You're either married or divorced, but not both at the same time. Until they're not married, then they are married.
In this culture, though, with the crappy moral values that we have, it's probably the common thought that "separated is as good as divorced." Most folks give some passing nod to marriage and not pursuing the married, but they have little/no regard for premarital chasteness.

I have a slightly different view of "separation"/divorce, but your central point is worth making. I confess (boast?) I haven't followed this case closely, I just see her constantly and universally called his "mistress." If he fully deceived her, if she honestly thought his marriage was over, that's at least a little like calling a rape-victim a "mistress."
Thanks for the additional.

I thought he had told her he had "lost" his wife the previous year, and she thought he was a widower.
