You know, I almost never give those people any thought, but I consider the fact that I occasionally make it onto their radar screen kind of a badge of honor.

We must be doing a few things right. : )

Yep. I'm pretty proud of it too and I am honored to be amongst such good company.

Algore JUNIOR's day has past just as his father Algore SENIOR's day passed in the 1950s when fellow Tennesse senator Estes Kefauver only nabbed the VP slot on the Rat ticket. There have been a lot of also rans in the Rat history who ran repeatedly (and even got the nomination) but never won. Sometimes they were the bottom of the ticket, sometime the top. Algore has seen his days in Washington and they have passed. The Co-president from the 1990s may make another run at the office, but for Algore "me too" Junior, his days in Washington are over.

I think I've discovered the composer of that stirring anthem we heard at Algore & Tipper's booksigning:

"You're still our man for 2004--
We are still behind you, Mister Gore!"

When I become president, every gov. program will be subjected to full review by a team of Moderators. Wasteful programs will be pulled or ZOTTED! That's a promise!

As long as the EPA is the first one ZOTted, there shouldn't be too much of a problem with DC becoming the ozone capital of the world.
