I just heard on the news today that an Episcopal diocese in New Hampshire just elected an openly gay Bishop (hanging head in shame for the church that baptized me).

Exactly so - and that is why spiritual force is the most important and strongest energy. If a person is sincere trying to serve God and do His will, then that person can do wonders. The key would be sincere - and (I'm sure you know this as well as I do) that if a person prays for strength, desire to do the will of God HE gives it to us. It is not our own strenght etc. But we have to WANT to do His will. And likewise, if a person wants to be rebellious, God will give them their desire - and they won't be able to hear His voice. But He is so kind - that sometimes a little echo or small voice can be heard - and that is why the rebellious souls want to drown Him out continuously (ultra loud radios in cars??) and not allow anyone to speak His message.

But all it takes is a prayer and some tears to turn in the right direction!!! (I mean that's the start - not that that is all it takes. It's a lifework.)

You said it correctly. All it takes is a humble heart to turn. It takes a little more to walk, but only that much to turn.

Problem is, humble men and women are hard to find.

I thought I was really humble once. I was so proud of how humble I was. ;)
