She'll be able to post bail. The feds will have to prove Martha Stewart knew Imclone's new drug wasn't going to marketed and used that knowledge to dump the company's stocks. "Insider trading" is having access to info about a company's stocks that isn't generally available to ordinary investors.

Yup. That kind of tip-off is what caught Stewart. She should have been smart enough not to trigger the securities exchange laws. As she found out, taking legal shortcuts to a profit CAN really change your life.
