Atlanta, June 02, 2003, 2 a.m. -. ReddingNewsReview.com has learned that Former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney is in talks with an Atlanta radio station for her own political talk forum.
McKinney, who was ousted from office by Denise Majette (D-GA 4th) during Georgia's Democratic congressional primary after implying that there was a Sept. 11th conspiracy, is in talks with WAOK-AM in Atlanta to possibly conduct an afternoon drive program from 3 to 6 p.m., Reddingnewsreview.com has confirmed through three key sources.
McKinney, who implied that the administration may have known about the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C. later recanted, telling ReddingNewsReview.com she did not intend to imply Bush orchestrated the attacks. (View the June 21, 2002 story and interview)
WAOK nor McKinney could be immediately reached for comment at press time.

Give as many liberals like McKinney talk shows as you can. They do more harm to themselves than we do to them.

Is she going to be Al Frankens liberal sidekick like Howard Stern is to Robin Quivers?

She's so vacuous that her show would be mistaken for dead air.

I can't imagine this is going to be too successful. I'd assume that most people in possession of an intellect that would find her interesting either ride the bus or would be home dead drunk on the floor at that time.

All rumors that McKinney is dumb as a stump are greatly exaggerated. Most stumps exhibit a great deal more common sense and intelligence than Jihad Cindy. She'd last about 15 minutes in the talk show format with people who have brains being able to ask her direct questions (that she couldn't answer without appearing to be a bigger fool than she is already is perceived to be) before she'd blow her cool, and if her screeners just had liberals on no one would listen. The logs from the garbage collection agency would be more interesting.

If true, I'll listen a few times just for the amusement value.
I bet she won't be taking calls, at least none that aren't heavily screened.

McKinney, who was ousted from office by Denise Majette (D-GA 4th) during Georgia's Democratic congressional primary after implying that there was a Sept. 11th conspiracy She's right; there was a conspiracy on September 11. At the same time some conspirators were attacking our buildings and people, people with ties to Islamic terrorists groups were also donating money to her re-election campaign. According to the FEC data, September 11 was one of her biggest days for campaign contributions (nearly all coming from Islamic sources). She was a weapon of the Islamic terrorists just as much as those planes crashing into the Pentagon; she was just one of their stealth weapons targeted on the Capitol building.

Absolutely - the way her handlers shrouded her last year during our FReep, I would bet the farm on that one!
