There is no grand jury in this case.

If Geragos shows the jury that picture of Connor's room which Scott painted, I predict that his intention to show Scott in a favorable light will backfire. Why? Because the blue room w/a nautical motif has a picture of a LIFE PRESERVER saying "Welcome". Ironic under the circumstances, isn't it?

Geragos in jail....I guess I can dream.

The Prosecution has to turn evidence over to the defense. Holding back evidence would cause a mistrial.

You're right--he can't just wave around a copy of a police report. He has to bring in the rape victim to testify. That'd be disgusting and loathesome--but then, we are talking about Geragos.

Dont the prosecutors have to present evidence to the court/judge before they get an arrest warrant?

Great said the other night that Scott said he would be golfing the days of the disappearances and mentioned nothing about a boat trip when questioned by one of Laci friends at the hair shop..

Ironic, no. Creepy, yes.

They have to have probable cause. They also have to have probable cause to get search warrants and wire taps. They didn't pick on Scotty because he was handy.

I meant to get a murder/death penalty charge on special circumstances they would have to show some information-right?

Curiously, all but those who are making a supreme effort (innocent till proven guilty) are thinking he is probably guilty, but the case does not appear to be a slam dunk.
Most of what the public knows deals with the guy's behavior since the "disappearance" of his wife. The thing is, we don't know how much of this behavior will be admissible.

No one has ordered it, but I gag every time I see Geragos.

I think the special circumstances is because a child was killed and/or the fact that it was a double homicide. Death penalty requires murder one, which requires proof of premeditation, if I understand this correctly. But the premeditation doesn't have to take long, even a second will do it if they can prove the perp thought about the crime before he committed it. And if the stuff on the computer, the concrete, the story to Amber about how his wife died, etc. is any indication, I don't think the DA's going to have a problem.

Mornin' Howlin! What's the significance of the "332 days to go" tagline?

Garagos was claiming that Scott would be exonerated by this woman in a few weeks.
