>>Peterson said her son has a request, too: He wants his wife's wedding ring, another diamond ring that he bought her, and a few diamonds given to Laci by her grandmother. Peterson said the rings and gems had been taken to a jeweler for crafting into one ring.<<

Wow that's bold. If anyone watches any of the court shows, the rings given to a bride are the brides. Plus diamonds given to Laci by her grandmother?!?!
Innocent until proven guily. If this dude didn't do it, stupidity is only his second crime. Greed is the first.

"Plus diamonds given to Laci by her grandmother?!?!"

I've come to the conclusion that the Peterson's aren't very bright. Low class, spam-suckin' trailer trash.

I am wondering the chances are that the Rochas picked up the rings from a pawn shop and not a jeweler.
Also I am wondering the existence of the rings. If Petersons knew that Scott had given them away or pawned them the Rochas may have played right into the Petersons hands by entering the house. Now Petersons can blame the Rocha's for the missing rings or other missing items.

I think the diamonds are from Jackie Peterson's grandmother. At least that's how I read it.
