MOSCOW, June 3. 32 check-points on the borders with Mongolia and China will be closed as a result of the spread of SARS in the Far East. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed today by the State sanitary-and-epidemiologic department, this decision was reached by the Russian government and the resolution will come into force from June 4.
770 people have already died as a result of the virus and 8,384 cases have been registered in total in 28 different countries. The number of registered cases has risen by 27 in the last two days and 6 more people have died (2 in China and 4 in Hong Kong).
Thanks, aristeides. ;-D
