Is Dubya Damien Thorn?
Tuesday, June 03, 2003
Apparently, it isn't just Democrats who think George W. Bush is the Antichrist. A minority of religious conservatives are taking a second look at the 43rd president of the United States to gauge where the man who recently conquered Babylon fits into their parochial view of biblical prophecy.
Such talk, oddly enough, is limited to only a few extremist sites on the Internet.

I think God is pleased with those who wish to learn more, rather than those who do not dream about the things to come. There is a horrifying aspect to the end-times, but if we put our faith in Him, should he arrive tomorrow, we may be blessed even more so, than those who have died and gone home to Him, before His return. We cannot know, of course. Either way, I hope I will be blessed to join you in His presence, some day.
Best wishes.

No. I'm the kind'a guy who means what I say...and say what I mean. It's just another silly trait I have.
(btw,..re: one of your above, the Bible is a great read and fantastic story. I never thought about it being a lie, rather just an outstanding documenent of ancient verbal history.)
'Note Bene': "Jesus came to take away one's sins...not their minds."
But, please be careful. For those of rigid religious beliefs and tenets; using the mind, brain, ability to reason, question and seek the truth...(in which a Higher Power bestowed upon us from the get'go)...often remains askew.

To have rigid Christian beliefs, one must use ones mind and ones ability to reason. Otherwise one can not have rigid Christian beliefs.
Fundamental Christianity, unlike most other religions, is not a religion of follow the leader blindly, but one of following God for the reason that: before we loved Him, He loved us, He loved us so much He came from heaven to suffer for us and give us the only way to eternal salvation.
One does not become a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian through ignorance, but through knowledge, ignorance is of satan knowledge is of the Lord.
To understand God's Word and His word, go to the Word in prayer.
