Why is it crying wolf?

Everytime it has gone up, the public has been more vigilant, correct? And, no harm came. Why does this prove that we have let our guard down? I cannot imagine that 9/11 is a distant memory... code orange is still a big deal, I believe. Who thinks it is a laughing matter?

"Who thinks it is a laughing matter?" -- Pan_Yans Wife

I certainly don't. But I find an annoying crowd of folks that applaud American government upon its foreign intervention policies critical to why America is all dumbed up into color books and interventionalist strategies all over the world. Yet, still no OBL and no SH and over one trillion dollars spent to catch these folks.

The "public" doesn't know what to think anymore. Even the State of AZ has said that they may not respond to another alert level change. These codes mean nothing anymore.

Try to imagine the USA in WWII that had air-raid alerts every other day but no bombings ever occured. When someone tells you that there is danger, but also says "But please go out and have your nails done as usual.", then eventually these warnings will not be taken seriously.

This is exactly what is now happening. Therefore, it is probably time to stay home.
