"I want to know why we can't repatriate the illegals we already have."

Hey, I agree.

I am in PA but was in NJ last week. I go to a wonderful restaurant, great food, reasonable prices. Now, I have become friends with the owner over the years. I was sitting with him when I asked, "How do you continue to serve quality dinners at such prices?". His reply, as the swinging door to the kitchen exposed the employees, "You see them, half of them are illegal and work for zilt".

This has to stop.

Yes, we are unwittingly our own worst enemies. And in cases like this, it looks like greed has something to do with it. Although I'm sure it's not easy running a small business with taxes, regulations, and litigation hazards. But I don't think your eatery's situation is unique by any means. It's going on all over.

The thought of those poor people working for next to nothing is painful. Of course many end up a burden on our entitlements infrastructure. Why let the cycle continue? Why allow the gerrymandering of the vote in favor of people who "owe it all" to welfare?

This is not the America of Ellis Island.
