If they didn't lock the borders down, for any significant period of time, on 9/11, then why would they do so, today? The borders will never be shut, in my opinion.

Most or all the 9/11/01 terrorists entered legally.

In case you missed it, the problem people are mainly MUSLIMS from the middle east. That is called defining the problem.

If you eliminated illegal immigrants from Latin America, it might make a lot of people "feel good" but it would fail to address the source of the threat (which is not farm workers, lodging and food services industry workers, etc.).

Why not stop ALL ENTRY from every single terrorist locale? Keep the bad guys out? Let CAIR scream all they want.

I agree. But alot of these people are already in here. We need to root out the ones in here too. Look at the guys in Buffalo. They were born here. All it takes is a little brain washing. We should refuse to let anyone fly to any Arab country without good reason! And we should also make sure no training is done in this country. These guys easily fly back to their country for training and then return safely to this country as U.S. citizens to do their dirty deeds!
