She did have a purple rectum from toxicity and a surreptitious visit by Peter Lawford, her doctor and a third man.
The caretakers reported the visit.
The Kennedy-Clinton similarity with Mary Meyer might be with the Starbucks waitress, former White House intern, Mary Mahoney, shot separately from the two co-workers.
No shots were heard; no money was taken.

Then on Oct. 12, 1964, Kennedy's lover Mary Meter was brutally murdered by an unnbown gunman on her daily walk along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal path...I was stationed in DC at the time and remember this as being a big, big story - lots of speculation even then that it was related somehow to Kennedy - tying up loose ends of Camelot, and all that...
Thomas Reeves in A Question of Character gives some additonal interesting details, such as that Meyer was at one time a neighbor of Robert Kennedy and was also the sister-in-law of Ben Bradlee (who once denied knowing about the affair when it was going on but admitted he had read parts of Meyer's diary before it was destroyed)...in addition, Meyer had taken the place as "the presidential favorite" from Judith Campbell, of Sinatra/mob fame. When Campbell called to complain about how she was being treated Kennedy cut her off "you've got to learn to handle this - I've got more important things to deal with..."
Time and maybe DNA will tell.......
