Democrats Losing the Battle for the "Warm Fuzzies"
GOPUSA ^ | June 2, 2003 | Bobby Eberle

James Carville and company announced in a recent memo to the Democrat faithful that the political season is now open and it is "time to go hunting." A review of the memo shows that not only are the Democrats betting their fortunes on either the utter collapse of the economy or a major homeland security fiasco, but their analysis of current trends and public opinion is completely off the mark.

The latest memo from "Democracy Corps," the organization led by Carville, Stan Greenburg, and Bob Shrum, acknowledges that the "perception of success and strong leadership is helping the Republicans." Yet, in the very same sentence, the memo states that there has been "no shift to the Republicans, even at the high point of the President's popularity." Who are these guys kidding? Perhaps the number of people identifying themselves as Republicans has not changed, but that point is irrelevant. The only political point worth anything is how public perception translates into election results.

He is loyal beyond anything else.

Not quite, this whole thing with the memo, is part of a power struggle, he has been trying to get Terry boy's job, and has been hammering him, though not using his name, alot, on CNN, in memo's, talking at fundraisers, and in advice to canidates.

Carville is a real snake, who is more obsessed with his own power then he is even with ideology. His partisianship is a cover for his own greed and lust for himself, even Clinton saw that after awhile, and it scared him.

Carville, if he gets his way, will take control of the democratic party, something that I'm sure bill and hillary do not want now, with all there puppets in place. They got rid of him at the white house because of how he ws getting, and they were carefull not to bring him back in, in any way, shape or form, when Clinton was leaving office. That tells you something.

Their shtick made for selling papers

And papers, major networks and Public funded broadcasts biasly reported the "shtick" in a way that made it the "yellow brick road" all the while demonizing as "racist" or "radical" anyone who dared question or bring to light to their scam. Damn them all!

What does Mary Matalin see in this serpent-headed boob? He calls her Mistress Mary. She must be obeyed.

Carville has no loyalty to those he never expressed to behold to. Terry the Terrible is the prime example of who Carville has no time for. You are right about the struggle issue.

Terry wants to stick with the diseased party tactics that provide cover for himself. Carville would be a better throwback to the democrat party of old, where it's constituants were hard working blue collar principled people. Today they are just skilless unemployable dolts who work in government jobs, teach, or survive a pathetic life off of social programs, child support, and social security checks.

Carville sees no future in Terry's pawns and Terry see's a certain death in Carville's democrats.

Sounds like Screwball and the gang have been telling so many lies for so long that they've lost all sense of what "is" and what "isn't" -- and that's good for us!

Don't leave out McAwful - his "leadership" lost the 2000 and the 2002 elections for the dems. As long as he's in charge, he will continue to lead them in the wrong direction ... which leads right over the cliff and into oblivion.

McAwful only does the bidding of x42 and Hitlery!! You connect the dots ...!!
