Thank you for yoru work on this. To state what we know about how governments are handling these ourbreaks maybe I can call them epidemics. i really am not sure how many cases it takes to constitute an epidemic. canada has implemented a catch 22 definition of SARS and Chins is lying so we really do not know just how severe teh situation in these nations really is or will become. In Canada some teenagers who are supposed to be in quarantine are not obserbing said quarantine. We have no way of knowing the quarantines are comprehensive enough and in the sense we have no knowledge about some of the "suspect cases or possibly case not yet reported to an MD. So we have no good data on which to truly evaluate the spead of SARS so I hereby submit that one must presume that SARS is either on the verge of or has become an epidemic in thse nations.
