We need to sort out what we heard about this. I think I heard it said that the cervix was still intact. Apparently others heard it as the uterus.
Spunky tells me that it is indeed possible for the cervix to still be in the body, even when the (rest of the?) uterus isn't.

I heard that the cervix was still intact, and the uterus was present..intact to me ment that she had not given birth vaginally so I'm interested in knowing if the uterus ruptured when gasses built up, expelling the baby...
