I just read through today's posts and news, and what strikes me the most is the broken ribs. I assumed that any of the organs missing was postmortem damage, probably from marine life. Even the missing head and limbs could have been from joint disarticulation after decomposition while attached to heavy weights. But nothing other than wife abuse could have caused those broken ribs. Am I right? Could they have broken postmortem in transporting her body? Can't they tell which, in the autopsy?

Yes, the broken ribs. When I read that, I idly started trying to picture the ribs becoming cracked or whatever from the body's being buffeted about. I don't know... there are rocks on that shoreline, or at least nearby there.
Or maybe the body was dropped from some place high? Like a bridge? Scott could have done that in the dark of night...I've heard it said that when a person goes off a high bridge into water, the impact when they hit the water is the same as falling on concrete.
