Concerning SP and narcissism.

Characteristics of malignant narcissism

The time is right, I believe, for psychiatry to recognize a distinct new type of personality disorder to encompass those I have named evil. In addition to the abrogation of responsibility that characterizes all personality disorders, this one would specifically be distinguished by:
(a) consistent destructive, scapegoating behavior, which may often be quite subtle.
(b) Excessive, albeit usually covert, intolerance to criticism and other forms of narcissistic - injury.
(c) Pronounced concern with a public image and self-image of respectability, contributing to stability of lifestyle but also to pretentiousness and denial of hateful feelings or vengeful motives. (Ie. Everyone who knows this person will say that they are, or seem to be, the perfect husband, father, etc).
(d) intellectual deviousness, with an increased likelihood of a mild schizophrenic like disturbance of thinking at times of stress.

The narcissist is never whole without an adoring, submissive, available, self — denigrating partner. His very sense of superiority, indeed his False Self, depends on it.
Here are the 9 criteria. Having 5 of these 9 "qualifies" you as a narcissist...
1. Feels grandiose and self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents to the point of lying, demands to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements) (Add: Lives beyond their means financially to keep up appearances.)
2. Is obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, fearsome power or omnipotence, unequalled brilliance (the cerebral narcissist), bodily beauty or sexual performance (the somatic narcissist), or ideal, everlasting, all-conquering love or passion
3. Firmly convinced that he or she is unique and, being special, can only be understood by, should only be treated by, or associate with, other special or unique, or high-status people (or institutions)
4. Requires excessive admiration, adulation, attention and affirmation - or, failing that, wishes to be feared and to be notorious (narcissistic supply).
5. Feels entitled. Expects unreasonable or special and favorable priority treatment. Demands automatic and full compliance with his or her expectations
6. Is "interpersonally exploitative", i.e., uses others to achieve his or her own ends
7. Devoid of empathy. Is unable or unwilling to identify with or acknowledge the feelings and needs of others
8. Constantly envious of others or believes that they feel the same about him or her
9. Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes coupled with rage when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted.

I came up with 5 he has exhibited so far...Don't know for sure about the rest, but can't rule them out..

I do like the term "malignant narcissism". Gets right to the meat of things, doesn't it?

How about he has Maligant Narcissism with Passive-Aggressive behavior? LOL.

Well, I don't know Snott personally (Thank God) but from what we have observed via the media, I would say he "qualifies" Probably Mommy Dearest too...
