and a long strip of duct tape was found between what's left of her legs.

Conjures up all sorts of questions in my mind, like "how long"?, "from exactly where to where"?, "tape still in place as 'they' believe it was originally stuck"?

I dunno, Anse, this might turn out to be another "dirt covered, boarded hole", might it not?

First, I've always disagreed with the notion of lawyers defending the infamous for free or for cut rate for the publicity it brings - it leads you to do stupid things. They should Always get money for what they do.

Second, "trial balloon defenses" offered to the media to plant seeds of doubt (in an atmosphere where nobody is actually making you pony up proof) are generally acts of desperation, and are pretty transparent. You offer something like that up, you better have something credible and checked out to back it up. If you don't have anything credible, then you don't spread the rumor.

Third, recognize that some people are guilty, and no amount of denial will change the likely outcome at a trial - so in that case, you hammer on the science, you beat on the causal connections, all while begging for a bargain before a verdict.

Thanks for the ping runningbear.

Ray, The Other Harry was waxing poetic on this topic about a week or so ago. All I remember is, it kind of took on a life of its own.LOL

Defense Team Seeking Man Named 'Donnie' as Laci Peterson Murder Suspect

Those Baby Names books come in handy sometimes, don't they? Was 'Donnie's' middle name 'Wayne' by any chance? That would play well with any jury, research shows!

The Peterson's have Power of Attorney from Scott.I believe calling it their house is over the top and shows their usual lack of sensitivity. This may require a civil attorney to sort out and in the meantime they lost a PR battle.

It was reported in the May 13th,2003 Natioanl Enquirer that the burglar(I am refering to the Jan.17th break in) was a neighbor woman. But I am not sure where the information concerning the wedding dress or the fact she was intoxicated is contained.
