He's on Britt's show a fair amount filling in for whoever is out between Mort, Fred, Liasson, or Juan.

Was Bennett's book an AUTObiography?

What is your opinion?

I was never clear on what is considered ghost writing. It probably has a broad definition. Writing or transcribing and editing from direct statements made specifically for a book is different, I think, than "found" text that is modified or changed in context, or bits and pieces of what the "author" said on separate occasions combined with what others said and still others inferred. One is like an autobiography and the other is like a biography. Does that make any sense?

Well, then Rush could have used the transcripts and easily written the books himself, why would he need a ghost writer?

Time and money. Why should he spend time doing something he can pay someone else to do when he'd make more money doing what only he can do? I do a similar thing when I work a few more hours a month doing what only I can do and what I enjoy doing in order to pay someone to clean my house. I could clean it myself, but I prefer my own work to cleaning and I make more money per hour than I have to pay the person who cleans my house. So we both win.
