America is in fact the most advanced country in the history of human civilization and there is a reason that every one in the world wants to come here, even during a down economy. Our healthcare ranks 19th among Western nations and our literacy rate is not as high as some other nations, but we still have one of the highest standards of living. More importantly, this is the country where people are told they can be anything they want to be when they grow up, which is not found anywhere else on earth.
