I like George Bush more all the time. I had the misfortune of owning a fishing resort next to a National Monument. The National Park Service pretty much ruined my business and spent thousands and thousands of tax dollars to do it. The NPS has been run by environmental zealots for years-despots who attempt to control everything around the Parks instead of taking care of their own business. The NPS wanted to ban fireplaces for miles around parks and control power plant emissions even farther because they considered all things under their sphere of influence. Among other things, they didn't like that my fish might defecate in the water too much. They even did annual studies of my creek and maintained a database to monitor this unacceptable situation. Never mind that they could have used the money spent on harassing me to fix their own failed septic system. I could go on and on. Thank you for your post.

I have seen the zealot NPS employees at the Great Smokey National Park and many Civil War Battlefield parks. A great many of the NPS employees have the attitude that the only way they are mandated to protect the parks is to run people off. Their attitude stinks, most of the NPS employees are left liberals and block vote democrat.
