I found myself yelling at "Chucklehead" when he had the gall to start going on about his love and respect for the Constitution! The "love and respect" Schmuckie has for the Comstitution is the same as an abusive boyfriend has for his badly battered "girlfriend"!

Thanks for your insights.
So---when the shoe drops; it's going to fall like a ton of bricks on the nay-sayers?
Certainly will be worth the wait!

Thanks YaYa--good report on Dodd (1/2 of waitress sandwich) to keep on file. Isn't it
amazing that Democrats can accuse Secretary Rumsfeld of "playing politics" < GASP! > with intelligence with a straight face?
By the way, on a totally unrelated, but delightfully amusing topic--have you all seen the aerial photo of Barbarara Streisand's home? The one she is suing to keep from being published on the web?
Forsooth and hark! What light through yonder window breaks! Tis the craven Republican $500 per child tax credit that tis GREED! Not thee!

Brit said: To believe that there are no WMD's you've got to believe lots of unbelievable stuff. mainly; we know Saddam had WMD's, but has since voluntarily destroyed them, but still wouldn't show the UN, even with imminent disaster in the form of US troops ready to depose him.
imho, UN delays gave him time to ship 'em out of country, bury, hide, dissassemble or destroy them.

The genious that 'W' and Rove have repeatedly displayed to get the libs to walk off clifts amazes me. This could well be the
coup de gras.I'll bet 60% of the US won't care... just the libs and a few of the moderates.

You left out Brit telling Juan that in order to believe what he seeminly believed, he would also believe in the tooth fairy. I almost fell out of my chair at that one, I was laughing so hard.

D'Amato was right when he called Schumer a putz or putzhead, whatever.

Regarding WMD - Evan Bayh - Hedging his bet. "
Possible errors in judgement"
Everyone except the most safe, most partisan, and least ambitious are refusing to go out on a limb. They have seen the intel reports, and they know that something will come out eventually, and that it will be significant. THis is just a lot of noise, some democrats at Eurocentrists trying to make some buzz. I think that they are trying to undercut confidence of Americans in the President hoping that distrust will continue even if the evidence comes out on the President's side. The goal appears to be an environment of 'prove it' when the President speaks.

And brought to further conclusion if Saddam had destroyed them before the war why wasn't he willing to show the UN they were destroyed because if he had he'd still be in control in Iraq...

If we can't trust the intelligence that comes from the CIA then we need to get rid of every CIA officer and start out fresh...

We are becoming victims of our own societal evolution. Patience is a foriegn concept in the age of the internet and cable/satellite news. A lot of American people do not understand that the search and stabilization efforts in Iraq are taking place in an environment more akin to 1940 than 1980.

I believe we can trust the intel. The problem is that our intelligence efforts were thrown back by a decade due to the Cinton doctrine (no 'bad actors' on the payroll). Also, note that the embedded reporters were sent home. We are no longer getting daily real time updates as to what units are doing what. There is a LOT of work going on every day. The first task appears to be securing the peace and stabilizing the region. The search is task #2. A few thousand inspectors JUST NOW arrived because the area had be safe enough to allow the inspectors freedom of movement. Remember, lack of freedom of movement was one of the key reasons the UNSCOM team failed so miserably.
