If she wants to divorce him, for whatever reason or no reason at all, she can. Nothing to stop her. FURTHERMORE, she is GUARANTEED 1/3 to 1/2 or more of his after-tax take-home pay if she's had a kid by him. If she wants to remarry and start a new family, no problem!! If HE wants to remarry and start a new family ... pretty hard to do on a severely trimmed income.

This is IMMORAL and our society is paying the price, yet people like you remain blind to the reality of it, blaming it ALL on the men -- any woman who is a mother is an automatic saint, and any divorced father who doesn't pay hard cold cash out the nose and then some, was stupid for fathering a kid that you perceive, usually incorrectly, he didn't want. My solution? Come up with a reasonable, affordable dollar amount sufficient to support a child -- say, the amount that the state pays foster parents to raise foster children. No matter the income of either parent, the amount should be the same for any kid. This would SEVERELY reduce the temptation of women to dump their husbands for any other than the most serious and justified reasons.

If he picked carefully, and prayed to know he was choosing the right woman, this wouldn't happen. Divorce starts with the wrong engagement. If you buy a rattlesnake and try to treat it like a cat, you will be bitten.

But people want to be free to marry outside their faith, to marry for lust, or just to copulate with anybody drunk enough to go home with them. That freedom has a cost.

The same goes the other way. Quit calling me a male-basher. All fertile persons have a sacred obligation to the children they might have, to choose the other parent with all due care. I do however believe since men have the most to lose, financially, they ought to be more careful than they are.

I don't know of any person that goes through getting married, having children all so they can get a divorce to "live high on the hog of child support". Wake up. The court may order child support, doesn't mean the jerks pay it (male or female). and yes people do change. when I married mine, he was straight, he got kicked out wearing my panties and having sex with the neighbor guy. and like I said, try collecting the child support. child enforcement agency is a joke. Every tool they got, the creeps got 10 ways around it.(male and female) so whether the courts order it or your proposed foster parent pay, it doesn't matter, if the creep (m Or F) won't pay, your not going to get any money. period. There are no guarentees. there is only you to do right by those kids.
