Yep, if you can't support them, don't make them. I am owed 83,000 in child support from a deadbeat in North Carolina. He continues to have his case continued. My new husband wants to adopt my girls - as well he should - but noncustodial deadbeat dad won't sign the paper terminating parental rights until I agree to drop the arrearages. I don't think so. Many, many of us "single mothers" are very hardworking ~ lot of us deserve/deserved the child support we are getting. I do agree though that some dads are given a ration of bull.
