Some additional points:

• DO NOT write notes to her, or give her any indication that you are planning to divorce, lest she file first when it's to HER advantage. Get rid "Go Gordon" user ID at this point, and become somebody else on FR. Do NOT assume she isn't keeping track of what you do online
• Think about a vasectomy: if your wife gets pregnant again, the clock starts ALL OVER AGAIN
• Invest in yourself. Decide what career you want to be in later, or what you might need to advance your current career. Get a Masters degree. Learn how to be an electrician. Whatever
• Put some money aside for your son, in a place she can't touch, for when he turns 18. That way, he can move out on his 18th birthday, and maybe you can move in with him for a while
