I won't let my kids see this film for 2 reasons: 1. Ellen 2. DeGeneres

She's a cartoon fish, for crying out loud!

Yes--I am quite aware of that, but thank you for pointing it out anyway.

But you see jlogajan, the men pictured below are not cartoons. This is a photograph of homosexual men at Disney World after dark at the last "Gay Day." Homosexuality and Disney have become linked in recent years, and I don't want my dollars supporting it. DeGeneres is an advocate for a terribly destructive and immoral "lifestyle", and I for one am opposed to it.

Disney nightmare

Dear Mr. Eisner:

My family and I recently returned from a trip to your establishment. We even stayed on Disney property so we could experience the "Magic of Disney 24 hours a day" as stated on your video. This was a vacation that we had planned and saved for for many years.

This was a vacation that my children will always remember, but not because it was a magical family vacation, but because of Disney's Gay Day. You advertise a family theme park, but you promote a park for gays.

Had Disney done the responsible thing and announced that June 7 was to be Disney Gay Day, we would have planned our vacation at a more appropriate time for children. We realize that Gay Day was not officially sponsored by Disney, but was an event that has taken place for seven consecutive years.

We wanted to make our vacation full of good memories for our children. Instead I will tell you the memories our children walked away with. The number of gays attending was probably over 80 percent. Parents were leaving with their children at a steady pace at noon when we left. Many gays were wearing shirts with inappropriate sayings printed on them.

My children saw even more than the shirts. They actually witnessed gay people making out and fondling one another. This behavior is not accepted in the heterosexual world.

This is not what I consider a Disney "Magical Moment." We heard lots of inappropriate talk from gay people all around us. We witnessed a gay man making advances toward a boy who must have been 13 or 14 years of age while waiting in line with his two younger siblings for a ride. The boy was extremely frightened.

One of the things we are most angry about is having a gay man watching my 13-year-old son urinate when he went to the bathroom. After that he would not use the restrooms again. That is considered sexual harassment.

Gay Day was not to educate people about gays and their rights, but an attempt to solicit small children into becoming gay, as well as for gays to find partners. Having always been open minded and allowing others to choose their own lifestyles, we have to admit that this experience has certainly changed our minds where gays are concerned. Rather than just choosing a particular lifestyle for themselves, they were wanting to recruit children to their way of life.

Everyone has a right to choose for himself, but has no right to try to force this behavior on other people, particularly children.

Therefore, thanks to Disney and Gay Day, our vacation was ruined. The dream we had of a magical family vacation was shattered by the very company who makes that promise.

Had we been informed about Gay Day ahead of time, we would have chosen another time to go to Disney World or we would have chosen another destination.

While at Disney we called customer service to file an official complaint. We were told that someone from the company would be contacting us either prior to our checkout or within a couple of weeks after returning home. We left Disney on June 8 and have yet to hear from anyone from your company.

We resent the position we were put into as we were left with having to explain this situation to our children, who are fairly innocent of the gay world. Disney owes us some type of restitution in view of the lost vacation and money.
