"The whole push for militarization of the border does nothing to address national security."

This is from Onion, right? (sarcasm)

Our troops can be put on Korean and Kuwaiti borders to protect national security, but they would do nothing to protect our borders?

Tancredo Fan, if you have an in with your guy, tell him he should be meeting secretly with Jesse Ventura, and they should find a third party that really wants to win. Think about it...everyone except the major political parties and corporate cheap-labor sellouts wants that border situation taken care of. Add that to the fact that Jesse Ventura is a patriot who won't sell out his country (even if we don't always agree with him) and he could pull in a lot of non-voters, who are almost a majority.

It's gotta' happen, while we still have a country to defend.

Excuse me, but who are the cucarachas? It seems to me we're being overrun by them.

"a crucial element of democracy and one we should not erase,"

One could say the same thing about our borders.

anybody want to argue that illegal immigrants sneaking across our borders from Mexico are not foreign invaders

Not anybody with even 2 centimeters of matter between their ears.

Now if you asked me about the Aztlanians or their allies the enviroNazis and the ANSWER crowd there is only a vacuum between their ears. You can include the progressive Pelosi DassHole DUMBORATS in that box too!

Everybody seems to agree that the illegal aliens are foreign invaders. Nobody seems inclined to agrue the point. That means the American military not only can patrol the borders, but is duty mandated to do so by the Constitution that created it.

With 3 or 4 million illegals in the US, it doesn't look to me that law enforcement is able to handle the problem. I've heard reports of Mexican army roaming the border and sometimes crossing over and shooting at our border patrol. We should smack 'em.

Since when is jprotecting our borders a dangerous precedent? *********

Since the military presence on the border worked in the early 1900s. The precedent has been set and if I am not mistaken, the Constitution specificaly intended for the military to defend our borders.

Were you aware that this nasty old bag is on the Mexican government's council for their strip-mining hordes living abroad? Talk about a huge fifth-column. I wonder if she's registered in the U.S. as a foreign agent? I wonder if foreign agents can be employed by the Pima County Public Defender's Office like she is?

Actually I was aware of the fact that Garcia is one of the representatives on that Mexican government sponsored council here in this country. A FReeper suggested (name slips my mind) that we make suggestions on who should be included in a "deck of cards" of 52 individuals who have done the most to undermine the immigration laws of the United States. In my opinion, Isabel Garcia should without a doubt make that list of 52.

Grijalva is one of the sleasiest RATS around. I pray that the people of Pima County make sure he is unemployed after November 04.

Thanks for the link in your post #49. I found it very interesting. I hadn't realized that somebody had already compiled a deck of cards in regard to that subject matter.
