Why people resort to terrorism as a means to an end is beyond me. It achieves nothing and doesn't further any cause.

Was it terrorism when a few men up in Boston took other peoples property and threw it in the harbor?

I think it's more of an organic brain problem than any cause they want to further. They are sociopaths who really need professional help.

But these people are not trying to achieve political goals. They are vain/sociopathic/deluded and to them killing is an act akin to masturbation. They get off on it.
