Why a sealed affidavit? Remember Waco's sealed affidavit?
Perhaps to protect the identity of informants. It's not that uncommon.

The FBI or BATF?
You can release the details of the affidavit without disclosing the persons involved. The affidavit, according to this story was the "evidence." Any evidence released today?
