Families clash over belongings in Peterson home

The ring story could be cleared up right away...ask the jeweler when/who brought the rings in.

If the rings and diamonds were to be reset, I know of no woman who would not go to the jeweler herself to pick out the new setting...

Just a guess,....I think Scott took them in after and was having them reset for Amber....

If Scott (through his mother) starts saying "she took them off to wash dishes", I think I'll scream. She had a DISHWASHER!!

So do I and I still wash dishes in the sink. You don't stop washing a few dishes in the sink just because you get a dishwasher.

Jackie Peterson's lucky I'm not Laci's mother. Right now she'd be turning blue, because I would have wrapped her oxygen hose around her neck and pulled it tight!!

Yes, but with a dishwasher (and a maid) would you wash so many dishes in the sink that you felt you should take off your rings? I do the same thing--use dishwasher, but wash some things in the sink, but I don't have marathon dishwashing sessions where I have to soak loads of dishes in the sink, so I never see the necessity of removing rings b/f washing a dish or two.

Jackie Peterson lies about who called the police.
Jackie claimed the security company called the police.
The police said no, that it was Jackie Peterson who called them to complain....Jackie Peterson had also told Gretta on Fox news via telephone that she had no problem with the Rocha's being in the house.
Now Peterson's scumbag lawyers say Rocha's may have planted evidence and have defiled the (crime scene?) where the Peterson's have been several times !
Peterson's defense is failing to win hearts and minds, I think. Scott Peterson is not the only liar in the family.

If one presumes Scott guilty of murdering Laci and Connor, then any attempt by Scott or his family to claim or keep items connected to Laci or Connor seems an outrage.

However, if one presumes Scott innocent, as we know his mother does, then it is perfectly reasonable that she would be horrified that the family was acting like Scott had no claim to the baby's things or gifts received on their marriage, or any other item they bought as a couple, or even Laci's own things.

I can understand and sympathise with the unrestrained anger of the Rocha's, but also the mother's goggles that Jackie Peterson has on.

Really, technically, at this point most of the items mentioned belong to Scott. It would be better if the Rochas and Petersons cataloged all the items, agreed not to disburse them or liquidate them, and then settled the matter once the trial or trials are over.

If Scott were to be convicted of murder, then naturally the proper disposition of the items would be to Laci's relatives. If not, there would probably be a civil trial that would determine if Scott had rights to the contents of Laci's estate.
