I don't think this is far-fetched.

Generally, the second terms of even popular presidents have not been as successful as the first.

Think of Ronald Reagan's second term: the Democrats were more effective in thwarting him, and also had time to scrounge up a scandal ("Iran-Contra"), which, however, phoney, did do some damage to Reagan and the Republican Party.

So a less effective Bush second term would tee up the ball nicely for the Dems. (Not that I think Hillary has a chance of a snowball in h*ll of being elected.)

Her "ugly" goes right to the bone and it comes from the inside out. Evil and hatred always manifest themselves in that sallow, puffy, droopy and hardened ugliness that is synonymous with Hillary's face.

I don't know what is going to happen, but I believe Hillary wants to run in '04. Her book is hitting the stands just as the campaign starts, she is doing prime time with Barbara WaWa, and I think she is behind the scenes directing the war room against Bush.

Maybe, Clinton's idea of amending the Constitution to allow a president to serve a third, fourth, how about fifth term is not such a bad idea when we could re-elect President Geroge W. Bush so none of the Clintons would ever have the opportunity to disgrace the Office of the Presidency again.
