I've got news for you. As of this moment the National Enquirer is possibly the most reliable source of news in the Western world. Seriously. I know, I know, stop laughing. I'm not kidding. Deal with it.

The figures are drived on the front page stories compared to other papers such as the NYT and the Washington Post. Yes, taking just the front page story they are more truthful.

Certainly the New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, and Guardian have been shown to be flawed. I think that the Nat'l Enquirer has been more dependable for longer than we would like to recognize.
