(Beach Boys Daughter) Carnie Wilson is going to show off her newer, slimmer body in Playboy Magazine.
The former singer of the pop group Wilson Phillips, Carnie Wilson lost 150 pounds after having her stomach stapled in 1999.
Carnie Wilson tells tonights 20/20 ABC News program that posing naked is her 'redemption.' She wants to show other women that they too, can 'let go and be free.'
There is no word on whether her scars will show.
She will be featured in the August edition of Playboy. Until then she is keeping busy as a judge on the NBC Reality Program 'Fame,' which travels around the country to find the next big star.

Let's just hope that birthday girl Wynonna Judd doesn't decide to pose nude to show everyone that she has NOT lost weight.

There is no word on whether her scars will show. Well, perhaps this would be the first known instance of the employment of an airbrush in Playboy magazine...

When I lost 45 pounds, you could visably see some hanging skin. I can imagine what this chick looks like (or maybe she had some tucks as well).

Her 2 books, due out soon, may make for some interesting reading.
In a country where a girl's self esteem can be "damaged' by an extra 5 pounds, I can't imagine what it must be like emotionally or physically to carry an extra 150 pounds.

Well.....not to be catty (giggle), but..........
I happened to watch about 10 minutes of that new reality show, "Fame" and Carnie was a judge.
Her attire was tacky, to put it mildly. She wore a mesh number that revealed a glimpse of very fleshy arms.
I applaud her weight loss and am happy for her, but skin after 150 pounds doesn't usually bounce right back.
I suspect that her self image is higher than reality will illustrate.
I don't know how much touch ups or angles will help, but I doubt she looks very good.
