His tone of voice when he asked if a burglary report had been filed was particularly vile.

I'm in total agreement! I just don't want to see a possible reversabale error made by holding the trial in Modesto, if a change of venue takes care of the issue.
The last thing I want to see happen is a conviction thrown out for a technicality that could easily be prevented prior to the trial starting.
Most likely, they would have to retry the case, but, having shown all the cards, the defense is all the more prepared.

I also find it interesting that the proscutors wanted autopsie reports sealed to give scott a fair trial. That to me suggest there is something incrinating against scott in these reports

then perhaps MG should ask for trial by judge cause he will never get 12 jurors on planet earth who have not heard of this case and probably already hate scott

It's OK if you've heard of it.You simply must judge based on the evidence presented at trial.

I also don't think it is going to help to delay this trial even by 5 years. People have memories. Snotty will go nuts behind bars while all this is all happening he he he I mean nuttier

It is the defendant's right to a jury of his peers, but he can waive that and go with the judge. Tough call. Judge will stick with the law, jury, just takes one, but you don't know how many are those "sleeper" or "slealth" jurors we keep hearing about, who want to get on with their mind already made up.
Sometimes, with so much emotion, a defendant is better off with the judge, but something tells me MG is going for 12, and something tells me he's going a lot of women on the panel. Just a hunch.

even though I now think scott is guilty I think even I could go strictly by evidence presented but some can't or of course you always have the bleeding heart who will hang a jury
