In the old days, a person actually had to be at a crime scene to leave clues available to the police. But now the police handily have DNA samples of people that they can now "discover" at future crime scenes. Given how cops (and, especially, FBI agents) lie in court, what's to stop them from testifying that they found this particular DNA sample on the next murder victim?
