From the St. Louis University commencement announcement:
This year, St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bill McClellan will serve as commencement speaker. McClellan grew up in Chicago and moved to St. Louis in 1979. He has been employed at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch since 1980. After three years as night police reporter, McClellan has been a featured columnist for the Post-Dispatch since 1983. He also is a panelist on the popular KETC public affairs show, "Donnybrook." He is married and has two children. McClellan joins a distinguished list of past commencement speakers that includes U.S. Vice-President George Bush and later his wife First Lady Barbara Bush, as well as Ted Koppel of ABC's "Nightline" and the late St. Louis Cardinals announcer Jack Buck.
