Not to defend Clinton, because I won't, but the Bush Sr. Admin also sold Speicher out. This has been a continual pattern of the U.S. Government since WWII. I'm not sure what is driving this policy, but it really stinks.

True, Eisenhower did it with the Russians, Truman with the Koreans and Johnson in Vietnam. It's a National disgrace IMHO
