I know this is a ZOT thread, but you would think that we could show more intelligence than has been displayed.

Rather than debate the article, point by point, most chose to make smartass remarks, or attempt to denigrate the writer.

It is representative of the problems encountered on the old Westerfield threads, and the TWA800 threads. If you didn't agree with the rampant, emotion-driven,media-led majority, you were scorned and ridiculed.

The writer of this article may deserve both. But how much better it is to see his writing demolished point by point, than it is to read repetitive childish remarks from FR posters.

Posts 63 and 85 (which happened to be from the same poster) are representative of what I believed FR posters were. Intelligent Conversatives that know BS when they see it, and can provide dependable sourced information proving it is BS.

Remember, we always accuse the DUers of being idiots that do nothing but make smartalec remarks and that kill the messenger, instead of responding to the message. DO WE WANT TO BE THE SAME?
